Browse the 515 available listings or use the search bar to narrow by breed, type, state or price. When you find something you like, tap Contact via WhatsApp or Inquire now on the listing. Your inquiry comes to Parkman Cattle with the listing number and we work out price, payment and pickup with you from there.

That is up to the seller. Every listing is marked either Firm or Negotiable by the person selling the cattle. If it says Negotiable, make your offer when you call. If it says Firm, expect to pay the listed price.

For regular listings, payment is agreed directly between you and the seller. Most sellers take a cashier's check, wire transfer or cash at pickup, but confirm on the phone. For online auction lots, payment is by wire transfer or certified funds within the payment window in the sale terms.

The buyer does. Every listing shows the seller's city and state so you can get a hauling quote before you call. Many sellers can recommend a local hauler if you do not have one. Cattle load from the seller's location unless you arrange otherwise with them.

Moving cattle across a state line generally requires a certificate of veterinary inspection (health papers) and, in brand-inspection states, a brand release. The seller provides these as required by your destination state. Requirements differ from state to state, so check with your state animal health office before pickup so nothing holds up the load.

Registered cattle are recorded with a breed association (for example the American Angus Association or the American Hereford Association) and come with registration papers that document their pedigree. Registered animals are usually sold for breeding and can be transferred to your name with the association. Commercial cattle are not registered, which does not mean they are lesser cattle, only that their pedigree is not documented.

A pair is a cow with her calf at side, sold together as one unit. Prices on pair listings and auction lots are per pair, not per head. Pairs put a calf on the ground the day they arrive, and many pair listings note whether the cow has been exposed back to a bull.

A veterinarian has confirmed the cow or heifer is bred, usually by palpation or ultrasound. Listings that say "exposed" mean the female has been with a bull but has not been confirmed bred. Ask the seller for the date of the check and who did it.

When a seller tells us their cattle have sold, we mark the listing Sold. Sold listings stay on the site for reference but are hidden from the main shop results unless you choose to include them. If you call on a listing and the cattle are gone, let us know so we can update it.

Fill out the sell form with your head count, breed, type, age, weight, breeding status, asking price and location, then send it along with your photos. We build the listing and post it alongside cattle from 12 breeds and sellers in 21 states. Your name and phone number go on the listing so buyers call you directly. Tell us when they sell and we mark the listing Sold.

Periodically we run an online sale, currently the Fall Online Cattle Sale. Consigned lots are posted on the auctions page with a starting bid and bid increment. Bids are per head unless the lot says otherwise, and a bid is a commitment to buy. When the lot closes, the high bidder is contacted by phone to confirm the sale and arrange payment. The buyer arranges transport from the seller's location, and the seller provides health papers as required.

If a listing looks inaccurate, out of date, or something about it does not add up, use the contact form or email sales@parkmanscattle.com with the listing number. We follow up with the seller and correct or remove the listing as needed.
